These two properties are located within the extensive grounds of a secluded private estate, surrounded by mature woodland with steep rising hillsides and rich grazing pastures. The Lodge has strong historic associations and is featured in the novel `Kidnapped' by R L Stevenson; whilst the Farmhouse is a fairly recent conversion, which forms part of the steading block. Salmon fishing and stalking by arrangement (according to season). There are various hotel restaurants in the area. Golf (18-hole), indoor swimming, sports facilities and shops, all 20 miles. Glencoe, Sea Life Centre and the chair lift gondola are a few of the attractions in the vicinity.
