Lapradelle-Puilaurens is a sleepy village situated in the Vallée de la Boulzane in the Aude region. Clearly seen from the bungalows gardens is the Château de Puilaurens (altitude: 697m). Ideal for a couple the bungalow is set back from the road and has large, very well-kept gardens with barbecue area. There is a restaurant and basic shopping facilities nearby. Visit historic châteaux, Quéribus and Puivert or Axat for canoeing and white water rafting. Locally there is horse riding, climbing, and some lovely walks and rambles. Quillan (17km) is a busy market town and the tourist capital; it still has the ruins of a medieval fortress.
