Situated in the upper part of the hilltop village of St. Quentin-la-Poterie, famous for its historic and working potteries. The Pont du Gard, the 'Popes' Palace' and summer festivals at Avignon, Nìmes, the hills of the Cévennes, and the wetlands and beaches of the Camargue can all be visited within a day. The village has a good selection of shops, bakeries, restaurants, a supermarket, a weekly street market, and a wine 'cave' which provides very good quality local wine, as well as local produce such as honey. Visit the bustling town of Uzès (4 km), the first 'Duchy' in France and the Duke's Castle and the Saturday morning market. The interior has been decorated in a cheerful and fresh Provençal style and is both charming and bright.
