La Baule and the Guérande Peninsula, with its 9km of sandy beach, is an excellent family resort with numerous children's clubs. Other attractions include the wild beauty of the rocky coast, the medieval town of Guérande, the famous 'Fleur de Sel', and the wonderful seafood of La Turballe and Piriac. The property interior is typical of a French country manor house; classically furnished with lovely period pieces, polished floors, elegant gilt mirrors and even a wall-mounted moose head in the entrance hall! The kitchen is large and well equipped, though of a simple, older style.
