Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are within easy reach as are several magnificent National Trust Houses and Gardens. The popular Eden Project is also easily accessible. Historic Launceston (1 mile), once the capital of Cornwall, offers a medieval castle, a selection of shops and a steam railway. There are two excellent golf courses within a short distance and a selection of horseriding schools nearby. There are a selection of local pubs offering excellent food; nearest approximately 1 mile.
