This small village house is situated near the top of the village of Ria in the Pyrénées, offering wonderful mountain views. Due to narrow steep streets, the car is left in the car park and the house reached on foot (not suitable for those with limited mobility). Ria is a pretty village in an excellent position to visit the sights of the region. Explore the Têt valley, a region dominated by striking Mount Canigou, the nearby town of Prades, the capital of the valley made famous by the Catalan cellist, Pablo Casals. He instituted the renowned music festival, held yearly in the nearby abbey of St-Michel-de-Cuxa, from the end of July until mid August.
