This real log-cabin displays a love of wood, with charming and original furnishings. Set in the little village of Cons-Ste. Colombe, next to the owners' house in their attractive garden, it is very compact and has a west-facing balcony to benefit from afternoon/evening sun, and an east-facing sitting-out area. The scenery is dominated by 'La Dent de Cons' (2064m) with good walks to it from just behind the house. There is an 18 and a 9-hole course at Giez (5 km), set amidst wonderful mountain scenery. Nearby, Lake Annecy has several lakeside beaches with pedalo hire and boat trips around the beautiful lake.
