Situated overlooking the beautiful Whitsand Bay, on Cornwall's dramatic south east coast, this detached house has spectacular panoramic views out to sea and along the coastline from many of its principal rooms, sun deck, patio and garden. It boasts its own private access to the beach below. This spacious modern house is ideally situated being only a quarter of a mile from both the centre of Downderry and the village and beach at Seaton. Downderry is a small village on the coast with a pub, restaurant, café and convenience store. Seaton has a pub, restaurant/bistro and a sand and shingle beach with diving and watersports facilities including surfing, wind surfing and scuba diving. There is also a monkey sanctuary nearby. Looe, famous for its seafood and fishing traditions, is 7 miles away and has a lovely sandy beach and working harbour where fishing and boat trips can be arranged. The picturesque fishing village of Polperro is 12 miles away. The famous country house Mount Edgcumbe is nearby while the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the world famous Eden Project are both within 30 miles. Plymouth, with its excellent shopping and leisure facilities (cinema, theatres, bowling, ice skating and museums) is half an hour away. The barbican, the Hoe and the National Maritime Museum are well worth visiting while in the city. Bodmin Moor is also easily accessible and ideal for walking and pony trekking in one of Cornwall's many Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
