Situated in an enviable position overlooking the sea towards Lands End and Brissons Rock, this 1850s Cornish cottage is just yards from Priests Cove and Cape Cornwall. Standing detached, the property boasts sea views from all the bedrooms and reception rooms and has retained many of the original features including granite inglenook with multi-fuel burner - there is even a beam located in the kitchen which was salvaged from an old shipwreck. The sun room offers triple aspect views over the patio and grounds and out to the sea beyond. Cove Cottage is set in two acres unspoilt, natural habitat with wild birds and rabbits, and visitors can sit and relax in the sun room watching for passing boats, seals and the occasional basking shark. There is direct access onto the South West Coastal Path, which leads west to Sennen and north to Pendeen Lighthouse, whilst the World Heritage Mining Coastline also awaits exploration. The Cape of Cornwall Golf Club is nearby, with a restaurant and the village of St. Just is host to a wealth of local shops, pubs and restaurants, together with galleries and cafés. Further afield lies St Ives - with its cobbled alleys, varied and interesting shops and of course, the spectacular Tate Gallery. Standing on top of a 50ft cliff, with a sheer drop down to the beach, this contemporary three-storey building has a roof restaurant and two floors of viewing space below. Wonderful views can be admired over the rooftops of St Ives and out over the harbour across the sea from Clodgy Point and St Ives Bay to the Godrevy Lighthouse. Penzance is also worth a visit, with its wealth of amenities including museums, cinema, golf, tennis and riding. There are also many prehistoric sites in the Penwith district. Pubs 1˝ miles.
