Its moorland and native Scot's pine forest habitat overlooks Loch Maree and supports an outstanding range of flora and fauna, including red deer, golden eagles, pine martens and wildcat. The end of a small row, Smithy Cottage has its own secure garden and is 20 yards from the village shop and cafe, and only 100 yards from a pub serving food. Five beautiful beaches locally. Inverewe gardens are within easy reach, as is Skye. Hill walking from the doorstep; loch, river and sea fishing locally. Golf 30-minute drive. Swimming-pool in Poolewe.
