Cruinn

Achnamara, Nr Lochgilphead, Argyll.,United Kingdom

Enjoying lovely views and sunsets over Loch Sween and Jura, this comfortable cottage stands beside natural woodland on the owner's working farm. This secluded pennisula, whose shoreline is an undemanding walk away, is abundant in birds, flowers and wildlife, with seals and otters close to the shore and deer and badgers in the woods. Ancient Castle Sween, Kilmartin Glen and the ruined chapels at Kilmory and Keills add archaeological interest while the Nature Reserve at Taynish is well worth a visit. Lochgilphead, (16 miles) offers a golf course and an indoor swimming-pool and you can enjoy a seafood meal at picturesque Tayvallich or Crinan.
