With stunning views of Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi and Ben Venue the area may be explored on foot or bicycle along one of the many marked footpaths. In a very picturesque area, The Old Smiddy is near excellent fishing, walking, cycling, golf, pony trekking and watersports. Aberfoyle (11 miles) is situated on the edge of the Trossachs with a great selection of local shops including crafts, woollens and coffee shops. The Discovery Centre and historic Stirling Castle make for a good day out.
