The lounge opens up onto the patio, with views beyond to the 2 acres of meadows and nearby is the River Clain, which gives its name to the pretty local village. There is also the added benefit of a shared, heated floodlit swimming pool (12m x 6m), as well as table tennis, bikes and a small boat for exploring the river, well stocked with fish.
Beyond the shops, bars and restaurants in the village is the amazing Valley of the Monkeys 6.5 miles (10km) and Poitiers 16 miles (25km), with its famous "Futuroscope".
