At the foot of Montmuran Castle, this wonderfully furnished early 17th century detached cottage, set in its own grounds, is situated in wooded countryside between St. Malo and Rennes. It retains some of the original features of a 17th century French house with its wooden floors and traditional staircases to the 2 upper floors.
It is within easy reach of all amenities and also on the Tinténiac Hills sightseeing route, dotted with historic buildings, castles and churches.
Beauty spots such as Ille et Rance Canal, including a series of 11 locks and wildlife parks and the beaches of North Brittany are in an easy drive.
Shops 3 miles (5km), restaurant 2.5 miles (4km) and café 0.75 miles (1km), beach 28 miles (45km).
