Valras-Plage is a fishing port and yachting harbour at the mouth of the River Orb, whose Theatre de la Mer hosts various shows during the summer months. Inland at only 6.25 miles (10 km) is the town of Béziers, capital of Languedoc vineyards.
It was already a thriving city when the Romans arrived and colonised it in 35 B.C. It is a city which takes festivals and merrymaking very seriously.
Shop 200m, restaurant 50m, café/bar 110 yards (100 m) and beach 10 yards.
All on first floor: Lounge, kitchen/diner, shower room with toilet and basin, 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 with sofa bed.
