It is perched on a hill opposite the village of Tourtour ("the village in the sky") which has views from the sea to the Mount Ventoux. Tourtour has a castle, clock towers, churches, restaurants and art galleries. The annual truffle celebration at the end of the year draws tourists from all round the region.
A free shared tennis court is available near to the property and the owner provides toys for small children.
