This semi-detached holiday cottage has what you would expect of a renovated farmhouse - stone walls, oak beams and a large feature fireplace. The garden area is compact but private, and the terrace to the front of the house overlooks the shared swimming pool.
The village of La Chapelle-St. Jean is close to the town of Hautefort, home to one of the Dordogne's most famous château.
The region's major roads are close by which provide quick and easy access to other places of interest, Périgueux, Montignac, Lascaux and Les Eyzies are all with easy driving distance, as is Terrasson which has a very popular weekly market.
Shop, café/bar and restaurant 2.5 miles (4km).
Ground Floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, bathroom with toilet, basin and bidet. First Floor: 3 double bedrooms.
Oil central heating, open fire in lounge, all fuel and power included in rent May to September, ?30 supplement October to April, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, washing machine, microwave, enclosed lawned garden, garden furniture, off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets.
