The cottage is an ideal base in which to tour the many attractions in this area, including the landing beaches - Omaha and Gold Beach, historical Arromanches with its famous harbour is only 4 km away.
The medieval castle of La Fontaine Henry is 14 km away. Why not take a trip to historical Bayeux with its Cathedral, famous tapestry as well as great shopping. Port-en-Bessin is also well worth a visit with fishing harbour and excellent seafood restaurants to try.
