This single storey detached house for six has three bedrooms, one of which is en-suite with spa bath, air conditioning and lounge with a terrace that offers lovely views over the Pyrénées. There is a lawned garden in front of the house and a very nice private outdoor pool at the rear. The owner lives in the basement of the property and is on hand to offer any help or advice.
The property is situated in the peaceful village of Bardos, where most facilities can be found. You are only 30 km from the coast with Biarritz and within easy reach of the Pyrénées.
There are lots of natural attractions to visit in the area, such as the caves of Isturitz and Oxocelhaya, and many interesting walking tours. There are also the typical towns of Cambo-les-Bains, Espelette (famous for its red peppers) and St-Jean-Pied-de-Port to explore. Most regional products can be found on the local markets and don't forget to taste a few Basque specialities, such as the popular "Poulet basque," in the local restaurants. The Spanish border is within easy reach so spending a day abroad can be a great idea for an excursion.
