Situated in the Corbieres Massif where numerous Cathar castles and ruins dot the landscape, whether military strongholds or places of refuge.
Quaint villages are all around and excursions must include Lagrasse, The Fontfroide Abbey, Narbonne, Perpignan, Carcassonne and the Sigean Safari Park. An added bonus is the golden sandy beaches only a 23 km traffic free drive.
Shop 1.5km, café/bar and restaurant 7km, beach 23km.
