In the pretty village of Réminiac, next to the church, this attractive semi-detached cottage makes an excellent touring base as well as a peaceful retreat. Local footpaths, including a sculpture trail, lead off close to the house; megalith trails in nearby forests.
The cottage has an open plan living area with log fire and plenty of space for sitting outside. Josselin, with its imposing château overlooking the scenic Nantes-Brest Waterway is close by, as are the market towns of Malestroit, La Gacilly and Rochefort-en-Terre.
The lake of Ploërmel (12km) offers watersports; or have a day at the south coast - with the gulf of Morbihan or the clear turquoise waters of Locmariaquer.
Shop 0.1km, café/bar 0.2km.
Ground floor: Lounge/kitchen/diner, bathroom with basin, separate toilet. First floor: 2 double bedrooms.
Electric heating, open fire in lounge (initial supply of fuel provided), all other fuel and power included in rent May to September, ?25 supplement October to April, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, highchair, 2 colour TVs (French channels), DVD, microwave, lawned garden, patio, garden furniture, off road parking for 2 cars.
