Relax in the peaceful setting of this private estate. These stone built cottages and much larger villa are set in the grounds of the country park hotel Domaine du Val, which has woodland and parks stretching almost to the coast. The cottages are cosy and practical, two are next to a small willow fringed lake, others having sheltered, private terraces. The very much larger and more modern villa has an enclosed garden. It also contains some imposing Breton furniture. Enjoy the facilities of the hotel, including the indoor pool most of the year and the woodland walks. The local beach of Le Contentin is very close by, while the popular Pleneuf Val Andre is also within easy reach, with its lovely fine golden sands, elegant houses, cafés and little shops. Visit the town of St. Brieuc with its excellent shops and stylish old quarter. Try some of the local scallops, the best in France. Go further along the coast to the elegant Binic and Pordic, or east to the lovely Emerald coast. Enjoy some of the local activities, including sailing, windsurfing, riding and quad biking.
