Set within the owners grounds, yet totally independent, this purpose-built single storey holiday villa has been well equipped, with air conditioning, a private garden area and its own swimming pool (6m x 3m, open April - October), which offers stunning views over the local countryside.
Peacefully located, the property is only 15km from Carcassonne, whose unique medieval city boasts 52 towers and over 2 miles of ramparts. It was this fortified medieval city that provided Walt Disney with his inspiration for the castle in his version of Sleeping Beauty.
Day excursions could include discovering the numerous Cathar castles, unique to this region, or trip to the historical towns of Toulouse and Narbonne. Hikers and cyclists will enjoy the beautiful scenery and a trip to the golden sandy beaches could be considered (95km).
