This area south of Loire has pretty small market villages, beautiful châteaux and vineyards to visit. Only an hours drive away is Saumur with its famous château on the river Loire. Just a short drive (25km) is Le Puy du Fou, famous for its historic theme park with a laser show in the evenings.
Further afield are the interesting resorts along the coast such as Les Sables d'Olonne (80km) and La Tranche-sur-Mer (82km). Nearby enjoy sports facilities, swimming, boating, fishing and horse riding.
