This spacious detached house is set in attractive, mature gardens on the outskirts of the historic fortified town of Pontivy. With beamed ceilings and imposing fireplaces, the house is full of character, as well as being practical and central for exploring Brittany. There is a games room with table tennis, darts, and outdoor games available as well as a snooker table in lounge.
The Nantes/Brest waterway is close by for keen fishermen, as well as for kayaking, cycling and walking. Golfers have a tricky little course waiting for them at Bieuzy (10 km), and water sport enthusiasts have the freshwater lake with its sandy beach and activity centre just 20 km at Guerledan.
Both north and south coasts are within easy reach - and don't miss at least one day at the lovely Gulf of Morbihan - the inland sea dotted with islands.
