This pretty gîte, one of 3 others, in a converted 17th century abbey on the outskirts of a small village has retained much of its original character with high ceilings, original beams, open brickwork and a large inset fireplace as well as a private garden.
Visit the old market town of Hesdin or the historic battlefield of Agincourt.
The coast with superb sandy beaches is just half an hour's drive away or venture further afield to the bay of the River Somme and the lovely port of St. Valéry-sur-Somme with its variety of fish restaurants.
Shop, café/bar, restaurant 5km, beach 30km.
Ground floor: Lounge/diner, kitchen, separate toilet. First floor: Shower room with basin, 3 bedrooms: 2 double, 1 twin.
Electric heating, open fire in lounge, all fuel and power included in rent May to September, by meter reading at end of stay October to April, highchair, colour TV, washing machine, dishwasher, lawned garden, patio, garden furniture, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets. NB: There is a pond in the grounds, young children will require supervision.
