This spacious (150m²) pretty semi-detached village house has been well equipped and tastefully furnished. Located close to shops in a picturesque village in the Corbieres massif it benefits from a small but private walled garden, ideal for dining al fresco with a glass of local wine. Horse riding and trekking are available in the village.
At only 25km discover the beautiful medieval fortified city of Carcassonne, whose drawbridges, machicolations and 52 towers can be visited on foot, by train or in an open carriage. Lagrasse (12km), one of the prettiest villages in southern France, has a 13th century abbey and humpback bridge together with its covered market, cobblestone streets and its beaches along the river Orbieu, ideal for a refreshing swim or sunbathing, have all helped to make this village a very sought after destination.
Narbonne (49km) is a very pleasant town to wander around, with its historic remains, in the shade of the plane trees, through its narrow streets and along the romantic banks of the Canal de la Robine. There are numerous Cathar castles to be discovered and the golden sandy beaches of the Mediterranean await at only 60km and it is only an hour to Mirepoix and the Pyrénées.
