This modern single storey detached villa located within a small estate comprising of 12 houses has been tastefully furnished and well equipped with the holiday maker's well being in mind. It enjoys a private pool in its well maintained garden and is peacefully located on the outskirts of a small village only 15km from the famous medieval fortified city of Carcassonne.
Unique in terms of its architectural heritage the city provided Walt Disney with the inspiration for the castle in his version of The Sleeping Beauty. There are numerous Cathar castles to be explored in the area. Day excursions could include a trip to `La Ville Rose' of Toulouse (95km), a worthy capital of the Midi-Pyrenées region thanks to its museums, theatres and leisure activities.
Head south to Quillan (39km) one of the best points of departure for forays into the forest of the Pyreneés foothills. Travel to the east and discover one of the prettiest villages in France, Lagrasse (40km). Wander around the delightful historic town of Narbonne (75km) or maybe spend a day or two on the golden sandy beaches of the Mediterranean (90km).
