Only 13km away is the forest at Mortain and 20km is historical Domfront with its medieval part up on the cliffs. For a day trip out explore the castles of Fougères, the largest medieval castle in Europe, and Mayenne or Bagnole de l'Orne with its famous spa centre with lake, casino and thalassothrapy.
For those who are a little more active, Andaines is 40km away and offers many exciting sports activities nestled in the large forest.
