Within easy reach of the unmissable Mont St. Michel, this very pretty detached property is in a quiet hamlet, and makes an excellent base for touring the very interesting local area.
The cottage has an open plan living area with an imposing fireplace complete with stove; upstairs, the bedrooms are bright and cheerful.
Fougères, with its imposing medieval castle is worth a visit, as is the coast from Vivier-sur-Mer through Cancale (stop for a plate of oysters!) to St. Malo and on; the lovely River Rance and the beaches of Dinard or St. Briac are worth a visit. Those interested in exploring war cemeteries will find several towards Avranches; there really is plenty for all tastes.
