A charming, deceptively spacious, cleverly-designed detached bungalow. The bedrooms and living areas all have French doors which lead onto a terrace/patio area to the front of the property which allow the maximum amount of natural light into each of the rooms.
This feature, combined with a woodburner and central heating, makes the property a great choice for all-year-round holidays.
The garden areas are extensive, mainly lawned and contain a small private fishing lake, which is enclosed with a fence for the safety of children. There is also a private heated swimming pool, open mid-May to early October. The village square of La Douze, where you can find local shops, cafés, bars and restaurants is less than 1 km. The historic town of Périgueux is approximately 20 km to the north, Les Eyzies is less than 20 km south, all the popular places to visit in the Dordogne are within driving distance.

All on ground floor: Lounge, kitchen/diner, shower room with basin, separate toilet, 2 bedrooms: 1 with 4-poster bed, 1 adult bunk (1 double bed above 2 single beds), sofa bed in lounge.
Oil central heating, woodburner in lounge, all fuel and power included in rent May to September, ?40 supplement October to April, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, highchair, colour TV, DVD player, video, radio, stereo/CD player, washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, enclosed lawned garden, patio, garden furniture, ample off road parking. Sorry, no pets. NB: There is a fenced lake in the grounds, young children may require supervision.
