Situated in the centre of the fishing port of Honfleur is Maison de Lisa. This pretty red colombage terraced town house has been converted into three apartments and is only a short walk from the harbour. Each apartment has been well furnished with modern bathrooms and is located within easy walking distance of the town's many shops, restaurants and galleries. Famous as a mecca for artists from around the world, Honfleur has retained its picutre-postcard appearance which has made it one of the mosts recognised of Normandy's coastal towns. The nearby towns of Deauville and Trouville compete for visitor attention but are just as well known in their own right. Offering sandy beaches, a casino and an annual film festival, Deauville is often referred to as the 'Cannes of the North'.
