There is a large shared swimming pool and a nice small private barbeque/dining area ideal for those al fresco meals, after spending a day enjoying one of the numerous excursions in the area. Limoux, on the banks of the river Aude is an excellent starting point for excursions into Cathar country, including Rennes le Chateau.
25km to the north awaits the famous fortified city of Carcassonne. The same distance to the south is Quillan, a major tourist centre for the upper Aude valley, and one of the best points of departure for forays into the forests of the Pyrenean foothills.
Please note within the domain is a banquet hall which occasionally hosts weddings and tea dancing, with no disturbance to this property.
