The property is peacefully located and provides an excellent touring base. Excursions within a short drive could include, Carcassonne (50km) with its world famous and unique medieval city, which inspired Walt Disney for the castle in his film 'Sleeping Beauty'.
Béziers, (28km) the historical wine capital of Languedoc, already a thriving city when the Romans arrived in 35BC. Narbonne, with its impressive Abbey, a pleasant town to wander around in the shade of the plane trees. There are Cathar Castles to be discovered, beautiful countryside walks to take and the golden sandy beaches await at only 35km.
