Quietly situated in a Charantais courtyard by the owners' home, this romantic cottage has a four poster bedroom, oozing character, leading to a private, large terrace with old cinema seats.
Outside there is a shared patio, an above ground pool and a swing. Adult and children's bicycles are also available. The area is a walkers' and cyclers' paradise, with the quaint town of Rouillac less than 5 minutes away. Rouillac has a huge swimming pool, bars, restaurants, cinema and a pretty market with farm products, such as ducks, wild mushrooms and fresh fish. Activities locally include riding (5km), canoeing (15km) and golf (20km).
La Rochelle is one hour away and boasts an old harbour, aquarium and trendy shops. Home cooked meals by arrangement.
