Grasse is nestled at the foot of a high plateau overlooking the fragrant plains, where the flowers that have made the towns fortune are cultivated. The blue sea off the coast of Cannes can be seen from the modern town and the narrow alleys of the old Provencal town wind around hidden gardens with heavenly scents.
That can be either mingling with the jet setters around Cannes, Nice and Monaco, or exploring some beautiful unspoilt villages such as Saint Paul, Vence, Eze, Menton or Roquebrune Cap Martin.
Beaches 12 km, shops and bars 2 km. Restaurant 1000m.
