This stunning property, located within a working wine domaine, has been refurbished to a good standard and enjoys excellent views. Peacefully positioned in the countryside 3 km from the lively village of Limoux, 25 km south of Carcassonne, the property provides an excellent touring base.
Numerous Cathar castles can be explored with also the mysterious abbey at Rennes le Chateau. The famous medieval city of Carcassonne can be visited on foot, by electric train or in an open carriage.
It was this city that provided Walt Disney with the inspiration for the castle in his version of the sleeping beauty. 20 km to the south Quillan is a major tourist centre for the Aude valley, and one of the best points of departure for forays into the forests of the Pyrenean foothills.
