Cottage in a 19th century farmhouse, with large beamed living room, kitchen/diner, opening on to terrace overlooking courtyard and garden. Throughout the season a large kitchen garden provides an abundance of salad and vegetables. Our tame lambs and donkey provide interest and are very child-friendly; together with the goats they create the total rural experience. Delicious home-made goats cheese can be purchased.
Great for relaxing, walking and biking. A free night in a Romany bow top caravan if desired. Historical Mayenne with its medieval castle and restaurants 15 km away.
Domfront and historic Fougères with medieval castle 35km; Mont St Michel 80km; Little Switzerland with its para descending and white water canoeing.
Shop, cafe/bar and restaurant 1.5km.
Ground floor: Lounge, kitchen, diner, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin, utility room. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 king size, 1 double plus single bed.
Electric heating, open fire in lounge, all fuel and power included in rent May-Sep, ?20 supplement Oct-Apr, bed linen and towels included in rent, cot, colour satellite TV, video, DVD player, cassette/CD player, shared washing machine, freezer, microwave, shared enclosed lawned garden, garden furniture, courtyard, barbecue, off road parking for 2 cars. Sorry, no pets. NB: There are steps to front of property, spiral staircase to first floor.
