'Les Chênes Verts' and 'Tradition' are two adjoining cottages surrounded by forests and beautiful countryside, ideal for walking and cycling. The cottages were created from an old farmhouse and still have original oak beams and exposed stone walls. Each has a private patio/garden area and a larger garden area which contains the swimming pool and children's swings and other games shared between the two cottages. Both properties have modern kitchens and bathrooms and combine soft furnishings with genuine antique dressers and wardrobes. The nearest village is Trizay where you can find restaurants and cafés, a swimming lake and an interesting abbey. The nearest beach can be found at 'Fort des Barques' (13km) whilst the resort of La Rochelle, with its old harbour and trendy shops and restaurants on the sea front is 32km.
