There are golden sandy beaches close by at Dooks or at Rossbeigh (4 miles), which also offers horse riding and an activity centre. The area has a choice of golf courses at Dooks (2 miles) or Killorglin (7 miles).
Round off an active day with a short walk to a nearby pub/seasonal restaurant or a short drive to the lively village of Glenbeigh (3 miles) with its shops, pubs and restaurants. A Heritage Village can be found just a short walk away. Shops 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles.
