These cottages are part of a custom-built development of 30 cottages, occupying a delightful location on a very large, thoughtfully planned site in Ballybunnion town and just 0.5 miles from the beach, with miles of golden sands and surf. The spacious cottages are nicely finished, bright and airy, and furnished to a good standard. For golfers, Ballybunnion golf links and club house are nearby. Further afield, sample the delights of the heritage town of Listowel which has a rich literary tradition, along with restaurants and traditional pubs, or take a trip to Tralee, the county town of Kerry, which has a great range of activities with swimming at the aquadome, trips on the steam train which takes you to a windmill or simply enjoy the many shops and restaurants. There are fine historical and archaeological sites in the North Kerry area such as Ratoo Round Tower and Ardfert Friary. Day trips include a trip to the Dingle Peninsula with its mountain and sea landscapes; the Ring of Kerry driving route offering panoramic lake, sea and mountain scenery, or Killarney National Park with the world renowned beauty of its lakes. Killarney also has many interesting historical sites such as Muckross Friary and Ross Castle. Closer to home, Ballybunnion is a real Irish seaside town, with an abundance of activities providing entertainment for all visitors, such as horse riding, surfing and hill walking. Fishing enthusiasts will find ample opportunity for fresh and sea water angling. Or why not simply stroll along the cliffs and enjoy the sight of the glorious stretches of golden sand.
