Drumcliffe, just 2 miles away, boasts its High Cross and Round Tower as well as the grave of WB Yeats, one of Ireland's famed poets.
Further afield, North Sligo, North Leitrim and South Donegal are easy drives offering sensational scenery, sites of historical interest, championship golf, fishing, equestrian and walking. Shops and pubs 1 mile, restaurant 2 miles.
