There are numerous golden beaches including the Blue Flag beach at Clonea Strand, Dungarvan, and the 5 mile long beach at Youghal. Possible excursions include Blarney Castle with the famous Blarney Stone, the Jameson Whiskey Centre at Midleton, St. Declans Tower at Ardmore and the world famous Waterford Crystal. Bride Valley Farm is just 1.5 miles from the N72 making it a good base for touring throughout Cork, Waterford, and Tipperary, and is within 40 miles of Cork airport. Golf and horse riding are available locally. Shop and restaurant 2 miles, pub 1 mile.
