From here visit Clare Island and Irish Turk from Roonagh Pier. Situated 8 miles from the attractive town of Westport, noted for its craft shops, lively pubs, championship 18-hole golf course, horseriding and tennis.
Why not go trout and salmom fishing in many surrounding lakes, visit the leisure park at Westport House or take a boat trip around Clew Bay. Within an hours drive you can appreciate the spectacular scenery of Connemara. Shops ½ mile, pubs 100 yards, restaurant 4 miles.
