Carna is situated at the head of the peninsula near a lobster fishing centre and 40 miles away from Galway city. Ballyconneelly with its 18 hole golf course and Roundstone with its cosy pubs are within easy driving distance. Clifden and Westport both make lively day trips with a vast array of shops, restaurants and bars. Climbing, walking, fishing, cycling and bird watching are all available locally. Shop, restaurant and pub 1 mile.
