It lies on the Nephin Range way with miles of beautiful paths for walkers and trekkers. Fishing with boat hire and ghillies is readily available. Achill is worth a visit, with its adventure centre and surfing beaches. For golfers, there is a links course at Mulranny, and parkland courses at Castlebar and Westport. Pony trekking is available nearby, and just 5 minutes from the house is a lovely shoreline walk. Knock airport 40 miles, with Galway airport 50 miles. The local pub and restaurant are approximately 5 minutes away. Shops 5 miles.
