It is situated five miles south of Haltwhistle (the centre of Britain) and is surrounded by the wild, unspoilt Northumberland countryside with fabulous views over the Pennine Hills and Hadrian's Wall.
There are also views from the rear of the cottage over the beautifully restored Lambley viaduct, a listed monument on the old Haltwhistle to Alston railway line. From the cottage the Lake District, Newcastle and the Metro Centre are less than an hours drive away.
