With Keswick and Derwent Water a mere 2 miles, the hidden beauty of Loweswater, Crummock Water and Buttermere is a spectacular 20 minutes drive through the Whinlatter Forest Park and over the pass.
The area abounds with places to visit with historic Carlisle and Hadrian's Wall easily accessible. Tucked away in this tranquil village with walks from the door and pubs and food available, you may not even wish to wander further afield.
Shop 200 yards, pub 30 yards, restaurant 100 yards.
Ground floor: Lounge/diner, kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and basin. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 twin, 1 childs twin (with 2ft 6in beds).
Electric heating, open fire in lounge (fuel not provided), all other fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, radio/CD player, microwave, off road parking for 1 car, on street parking. Sorry, no pets. No smoking please. NB: There are low beams and open tread stairs at the property.
