This stone cottage is idyllically set in a rural location within an area of outstanding natural beauty. 'The Stable' is a separate part of a larger barn dating back to 1851. The cottage is ideally situated for walking, as it is located on the 'Saints Way', an ancient footpath linking the North and South coasts of Cornwall. There is a footpath from the Stable which leads down to the river.
Fowey (4 miles) has many restaurants, galleries, shops, pubs, boat and fishing trips.
This is an ideal base for exploring South Cornwall, with its many excellent beaches, coastal walks and world famous gardens. Both the Eden project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within easy driving distance as is the stunning scenery of Bodmin Moor. St Austell with its leisure facilities including cinema, sports centre, and bowling is 8 miles away. Polkerris beach is 4 miles away.
