Gorumna Island is thirty miles from Galway city, and is one of three islands joined to the mainland by bridges and causeways. This beautiful scenic area is part of the Connemara gaeltacht and Irish is the spoken language.
These islands lie at the end of a coast road drive from Galway and amongst their many attractions are clean beaches, scenic walks and lakes; wherever you turn, you are never far from the sea. An ideal location for exploring Connemara. Aran Island ferry within 15 miles. Shop 0.25 miles and pub 0.5 miles.
